Conference Overview

PCMA’s Specialty Pharmacy Business Forum (SPBF) is the newest addition to the 2012 PCMA conference lineup. The SPBF will provide individuals and companies in the specialty pharmacy chain of commerce with exceptional educational and business networking opportunities. Our 800+ expected attendees will range from c-suite executives to mid-level professionals tasked with all aspects of the business of specialty pharmacy. Attendees will come from local, regional and national specialty pharmacy providers, PBMs, employer/payer organizations, managed care and insurance organizations, drug manufacturers, wholesalers, distributers, and numerous other specialty pharmacy stakeholders and service companies.

 

The SPBF will feature best-in-class conference sessions from industry thought leaders. These sessions will address the most current and important topics impacting the industry.

 RESERVATIONS
The Specialty Pharmacy Business Forum will be held at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. It is highly recommended to book reservations online for more convenient service. However, reservations can also be made by calling the hotel directly at (877) 770-7801 or (702) 770-7000. To ensure the group rate, please reference “PCMA”. The cut-off date for making reservations is Friday, March 9, 2012. Availability and the negotiated group rate ($199) cannot be guaranteed after this date.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All reservations require a two-night room deposit (plus tax) as a guarantee at the time the reservation is made. This deposit will be applied to the first two nights of stay at the hotel. Such deposits are refundable only if cancellation is received (21) days prior to arrival. Reservations cancelled within (21) days of arrival forfeit this deposit.

Please note: Modifications to arrival and departure dates are not allowed and will not be accepted after March 12, 2012. However, name changes and substitutions are permitted up until the day of arrival as long as reservation dates remain the same.

Conference Agenda

PCMA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing Education Credits will be offered at the SPBF. The agenda includes a total of 7.50 contact hours or 0.750 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Because the sessions are concurrent, pharmacist attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 4.75 contact hours or 0.475 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Sessions that are eligible for CPE credits at the Specialty Pharmacy Business Forum are designated with ** before the session title.
