Assistant Vice President, Strategic Communications
Charles Coté brings a diverse background of strategic planning, communications, and legislative experience to PCMA. In leading PCMA's strategic communications, Mr. Coté is responsible for communicating with top health care reporters in and outside the Beltway PCMA positions on a variety of issues impacting the PBM industry, including the Medicare drug benefit, biogenerics, and state and litigation activities.
Prior to joining PCMA, Mr. Coté was a strategist at Spectrum Science Communications, a health-care exclusive communications firm based in Washington, DC. During his time at Spectrum, Coté was responsible for the execution of public affairs efforts for client interests at the state and federal levels on a variety of issues, including the Medicare prescription drug benefit, health centers, and medical technology. Before arriving at Spectrum, he was Director of Communications for two gubernatorial campaigns in North Carolina. In addition, he has experience in broadcast journalism and also worked on Capitol Hill in the office of Congressman Dave Camp (MI-04).
