Michelle Galvanek
Vice President, Regulatory Affairs
Michelle Galvanek is the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association. In this role, she leads PCMA’s regulatory activities related to the Department of Health and Human Services, with a focus on health care reform implementation.
Ms. Galvanek has 20 years of health policy and regulatory experience in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining PCMA, she served in a strategic policy role with a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Previously, she was in senior policy and regulatory positions at the Federation of American Hospitals, American College of Emergency Physicians and American Association of Health Plans (now AHIP). Ms. Galvanek began her health policy career at the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of General Counsel. She earned a BA from Emory University and JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
Ms. Galvanek serves on the Board of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Capital Area Chapter. She is the past president of the chapter’s Board.
