PCMA believes in offering its members a full range of lobbying, advocacy, and business networking services. Our staff is service-oriented — that means we are constantly looking for new ways to assist our members beyond the broad objectives of lobbying and communications. We’re actively engaged in building new resources: a broad-based grassroots network of allies and supporters, a Political Action Committee, state affairs services and legislative tracking, in-house public affairs and advocacy capabilities, aggressive legal defense initiatives, and cross-industry business conferences and networking opportunities.
America’s Pharmaceutical Benefit Managers (PBMs). PCMA members stand at the forefront of an innovative and dynamic health care system committed to expanding consumers’ access to quality, affordable prescription drugs. To qualify for PCMA membership, a company must be a for-profit PBM that is NOT primary engaged in pharmaceutical manufacturing, NOT a drug wholesaler, and NOT engaged in retail pharmacy. PCMA members are eligible for exclusive association benefits.
Affiliate members include partners in pharmaceutical care such as pharmaceutical manufacturers, retail pharmacies, disease management firms, drug wholesalers, and others. PCMA affiliates are eligible for discounts at PCMA meetings and events and other exclusive benefits.
