Claire Winiarek is Vice President, Policy for PCMA.

In this role, she leads the association’s policy development activities in support of the industry’s federal and state legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts.

Prior to joining PCMA, Claire served as the Director for the Division of Managed Care Policy at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and held various policy and regulatory affairs positions for Fortune 500 health care companies, including Magellan Health, Anthem, and Amerigroup. She also served on staff to two members of Congress.

Claire is a doctoral candidate in Political Economy at Old Dominion University, from which she also holds an M.A., and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Mary Baldwin University. She is a fellow of the American Council of Young Political Leaders and very active in community philanthropy.
