JC Scott is the President and CEO of the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA), the national association representing America’s pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs. PBMs administer prescription drug plans for more than 289 million Americans with health coverage provided through employers, labor unions, private insurance and government plans.

Mr. Scott joined PCMA in the fall of 2018. Previously, he held senior association leadership positions at the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and the American Council of Life Insurers.

Mr. Scott also brings experience from his work in government. He served in various capacities in the U.S. House of Representatives, including as counsel in a Member’s personal office, staff to congressional leadership, and as a committee associate. He has also worked in private law practice.

Mr. Scott has been recognized multiple times by The Hill newspaper, Modern Healthcare, and Washingtonian Magazine for his work in advocacy in the health care sector.

Mr. Scott has an undergraduate degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, and a JD from the Georgetown University Law Center. He resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife, daughter and their two adopted dogs.
