Insys Therapeutics, a prescription drug manufacturer based in Chandler, Ariz., reportedly paid two doctors accused by federal prosecutors of taking bribes and prescribing its fentanyl drug, Subsys, at high rates. The company reportedly paid about $270,000 in consultant fees to the two physicians, who prescribed almost $5 million worth of Subsys to Medicare beneficiaries in 2013 and 2014.
