The core mission for PBMs is to lower prescription drug costs, and PBMs are not waiting for government intervention or unnecessary mandates to carry out that mission. While Big Pharma does nothing to lower list prices, PBMs have created new innovative programs to tackle high drug costs and respond to market demands.
