PCMA Welcomes New Staff Members

(Washington, D.C.) — The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) today is announcing new staff additions to the Federal Affairs, State Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Industry Relations departments.

“I want to welcome Jocelyn Wiles, Heather Cascone, Mike Baldyga, and Kayla Firriolo to PCMA’s staff,” said PCMA President and CEO JC Scott. “PCMA continues to work with state and federal lawmakers as they seek to make prescription drugs affordable to every consumer. Our new staff members will enhance the organization’s ability to achieve that objective.”

Jocelyn Wiles joins PCMA as Senior Director, Federal Affairs. Prior to coming to PCMA, she spent five years working for America’s Essential Hospitals as a federal lobbyist. She has also worked for the Health Resources and Services Administration under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and spent five years on Capitol Hill working for several members of the House of Representatives, most recently Representative Kathy Castor of Florida where she supported the Congresswoman’s work on the Energy and Commerce Committee.

Heather Cascone is Senior Director, State Affairs at PCMA. Ms. Cascone brings nearly 15 years of PBM industry experience in government affairs, policy, and public affairs from her tenures at Express Scripts and Medco.

Mike Baldyga will work in PCMA’s Strategic Communications department as Director. Prior to joining PCMA, Mr. Baldyga worked on the public relations team for the American College of Emergency Physicians, the nation’s largest organization representing the specialty of emergency medicine with nearly 40,000 members. He is also a former television news reporter and anchor.

In addition, Kayla Firriolo joins the PCMA Industry Relations team as Conference Manager. Ms. Firriolo has extensive experience in conference planning from her positions with the American Educational Research Association and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
