PBMs use pharmacy audits to ensure patients receive high-quality services from network pharmacies and to verify that no FWA is taking place. PBMs conduct audits in accordance with contracted terms that are always shared and agreed to in advance and staffed by appropriately trained, licensed, and certified pharmacy technicians and/or pharmacists.
