In Review: Over the interim, PCMA and its members collaborated with the Department of Insurance, the Division of Medicaid, and the Board of Pharmacy on the implementation and rule development process initiated by the Department, following the passage of SB 252. PCMA and our members have reviewed the Proposed Rule, based on member feedback to date, PCMA plans not to offer formal comments during the December 5 hearing on the Proposed Rule. As drafted, the complaints section is highly favorable to the industry, placing some burden on community pharmacy owners to ensure the veracity of their complaints to the Department.
