In Review: PCMA and our members met last week for our 2025 planning meeting. The key topic discussed was the discussions with House Speaker Nathaniel  Ledbetter (R), PCMA, BCBS, the Pharmacists, and others. Currently, there is no consensus on a package that would include cost + reimbursement for independents. However, the Pharmacists could still file a bill that includes cost + reimbursement plus a few other items, like audits and PBM fees charged to pharmacies. PCMA and our members have worked with all stakeholders in the interim and have provided additional solutions to help out independents, like PSAO reform and top-of-license language.
