In Review: PCMA worked with member company representatives and the Alliance for Healthcare Consumers to prepare for the hearing on SB 99 and SB 93. Both SB 99 and SB 93 are PBM overhaul measures that differ in their reimbursement approach and other areas, reflecting the needs of the two different pharmacy organizations in Alabama.

Up Next: On Wednesday, February 19, SB 99 and SB 993 will have a hearing only in the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee. PCMA will not speak at the hearing, allowing the local organizations to oppose the bill. PCMA and members are working on meetings with Senators after the hearing this week and before the committee votes.
