In Review: Last Wednesday, February 19, SB 99 and SB 993 were heard in the Senate Banking and Insurance. PCMA worked closely with the Alabama Alliance of Healthcare Consumers (AAHC) to have a group of local business voices oppose the measures. The Business Council of Alabama, Manufactuer Alabama, Great Southern Wood, and the AAHC all spoke in opposition.

Up Next: The bill sponsors requested a meeting with the local business community this week to review the bill and discuss their concerns. PCMA anticipates that SB 99 or SB 93 will be voted on in committee within the next few weeks.
