In Review: Last week, HB 238, a Pharmacist Kitchen Sink Proposal, went before the House Committee on Health. PCMA worked closely with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama to oppose the measure in committee. Despite opposition from the Business Council of Alabama, AT&T, the Alliance of Alabama Healthcare Consumers, YellaWood, Easter Seals, and the State Employees Health Insurance Program, HB 238 passed out of committee.

Up Next: Since the hearing, the Speaker has called a stakeholder meeting scheduled for Monday, March 18. PCMA will participate in the meeting along with the groups referenced above.
