In Review: Last week, PCMA and other stakeholders met in Montgomery with the Speaker of the House to discuss HB 238. The meeting concluded with the Speaker requesting a “Task Force” be created and run out of his office. PCMA, the Business Council of Alabama, BCBS of Alabama, the Pharmacists, and others will participate in that process.
Up Next: With HB 238 on the shelf for now, PCMA will closely monitor the Alabama Legislature to ensure additional unique ideas do not come into play.
