In Review: Senate Bill 252 passed the legislature last Wednesday and is pending Governor Kay Ivey’s (R) signature. Before final passage, SB 252 was amended in the House to allow rebates to be used at the plan sponsors’ discretion. While this is an improvement, SB 252 is still problematic for plan sponsors. On Friday, PCMA submitted a veto request letter to Gov. Ivey.
