In Review: Last week, PCMA met with your teams in Alabama to discuss the remainder of the session. We also discussed a summer-fall strategy coordination meeting and PCMA’s upcoming meeting with Insurance Commissioner Mark Fowler. While there are still a few PBM/Health Plan bills in play, it seems unlikely that those bills will advance at this point in the process, but they are still live until the legislature goes home.

Up Next: PCMA will meet with Commissioner Fowler to discuss SB 252 and focus that conversation on the department’s implementation timeline of the bill and how they will handle enforcement of the bill until the regulations are complete.
