In Review: The 2024 legislative session adjourned last Friday with no PBM bills advancing. HB 238, introduced at the request of Independent Pharmacists, failed to move after passing out of committee early in the year. PCMA and others were called into Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter’s (R) office early in the year to discuss HB 238. When the meeting concluded, Spk. Ledebetter requested PCMA and others return during the summer to work towards a compromise for 2025.
