In Review: Last week, Governor Katie Hobbs (D) delivered her annual State of the State address and made some ill-advised and wrong-headed comments about PBMs. The Governor’s comments were unexpected, given the more than 25,000 Arizonans employed by PBMs in the state and the education and assistance our members have provided to her office. PCMA is coordinating with our members, allies, and coalition partners to counter the comments and to send a message to the Governor’s office about the value of the PBM industry to Arizona employers and patients.
