In Review: On Monday, PCMA testified alongside the Greater Phoenix Chamber in opposition to Representative Selina Bliss’s (R) dispensing fee bill, but the bill passed 11-0. The bill moves to House Appropriations, but conversations have been very positive that it will not advance through the House. Additionally, Senator Janae Shamp’s (R) forced pharmacy closure and anti-steering bills both failed to be assigned to a committee in time to be added to an agenda before the deadline. This defeats the bills for this session; however, we will remain vigilant for efforts to put the language in striker bills in the House.
