In Review: With the start of the Arkansas Fiscal Session, PCMA is not tracking any bills impacting the PBM industry as the General Assembly is focusing on the budget. We also continue our work on the industry’s written comments on the new PBM rules proposed by the Arkansas Insurance Department (AID). PCMA requests that companies provide their feedback on the rules this week so that we can incorporate them into our letter. This week, PCMA hosted a virtual meet and greet for our members and the new Director of the AID’s PBM Division, Amy Seale. Ms. Seale is a pharmacist by training but expressed an openness to hearing the concerns of all players in the pharmaceutical supply chains and being a fair regulator. We look forward to working with Ms. Seale in her new role.
