Up Next: The Select Committee on Biotechnology is holding an informational hearing on February 6 to better understand the role of PBMs with respect to biologic drugs. Committee Chair Christopher Ward (D) has asked for a briefing but currently has no plans to introduce legislation. The committee is expected to have two academics make a PBM 101 type of presentation. There will be an opportunity for public comment, and Bill will already be in Sacramento, so he will be prepared to respond to any issues raised at the hearing as well as follow up with committee members.
