In Review: PCMA continues to reach out to labor as part of our veto strategy on SB 41 (delinking, ban on spread pricing, AWP, fiduciary, licensing, transparency). PCMA has also reached out to the ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC), urging them to modify their statement in support of SB 41. The American Benefits Council (ABC) has indicated that it will contact Governor Gavin Newsom’s (D) office and share its concerns with SB 41.

Up Next: Gov. Newsom has until Oct 13 to act on the bill, but is likely to decide sometime this week.
