In Review: On Tuesday, March 19, PCMA participated in a jointly sponsored event with POLITICO in Sacramento. More than 90 people attended the event in person, and more than 3,500 people watched via live stream. Bill provided some opening remarks followed by a panel discussion featuring Senator Scott Wiener (D), Anthony Wright with Health Access California, Robin Feldman with the UCSF Law School, and Caitlin Berry, Senior Principal, Public Policy, and Government Affairs for Prime Therapeutics. PCMA submitted written comments on SB 966 (BoP licensing and regulations, ban on spread pricings, AWP, delinking, and private right of action) to the Senate Business and Professions Committee and the Senate Health Committee. The bill will go to B&P first although no hearing date has been set. We have begun requesting meetings with committee members and staff.
