Up Next: SB 966 (BoP regulation, AWP, specialty, delinking, private right of action) is set for a hearing in the Senate Business and Professions Committee on April 15. PCMA previously submitted comments in opposition, and Bill will testify at the hearing. Our coalition (CAPA) will be submitting a letter opposing the bill, and we are working on getting individual CAPA members to engage directly with their respective legislators. Finally, we are also working on engaging fully insured labor organizations. AB 2180 (copay accumulators) will be heard by the Assembly Health Committee on April 23. We continue to follow the health plans’ lead (CAHP, ACLHIC), particularly given our focus on SB 966.
