In Review: Last week, SB 966 (ban on spread pricing, delinking, licensing, transparency, AWP) was heard in the Assembly Health Committee. Although the committee agreed that the bill lacked any direct patient benefit, they advanced the bill.
Up Next: SB 966 will be heard in the Assembly Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, July 2. PCMA has submitted comments to the committee on recent amendments that would impose a standard of duty on PBMs that supersedes any other duty or obligation. This is essentially establishing a fiduciary obligation on PBMs.
