In Review: Last week, SB 966 (ban on spread, delinking, licensing, transparency, AWP) was heard in the Assembly Judiciary Committee. Although we had a couple of committee members lined up to ask questions and potentially not vote, we learned pharma heavily lobbied the bill prior to the hearing and helped get a unanimous vote for the bill.
Up Next: SB 966 heads to the Assembly Appropriations Committee after the legislature returns from summer recess in early August.
