In Review: Senate Bill 41 (delinking, ban on spread pricing, licensing, transparency, AWP, fiduciary) was sent to the Governor on Wednesday, September 17. The Governor has until October 13 to sign, veto, or let the bill become law without his signature. On Thursday, September 18, JC Scott was joined by Kent Rogers, President of CarelonRx, in a video meeting with the Governor’s office to share our concerns with opposition to SB 41, focusing on how the cost impact of the bill, how it undermines the Governor’s recent PBM legislation, and the impact on labor.
Up Next: We continue our social media ads and political influencers engagement, urging Governor Gavin Newsom to veto SB 41.
