In Review: On Saturday, September 28, Governor Gavin Newsom (D) vetoed SB 966 (licensing, transparency, AWP, GPO regulations). In his veto message, the governor expressed concern about the cost impact of the legislation as well as the incomplete nature of the bill.
Up Next: Gov. Newsom expressed his intention to develop legislation for 2025. PCMA will host an in-person meeting in Sacramento to start preparing to engage in that process.
