Up Next: PCMA and members’ local counsel continue talks with the sponsor of Colorado’s delinking bill, HB 1094. As a result of these ongoing negotiations, the bill was removed from Tuesday’s House Health & Human Services Committee Agenda. Based on PCMA’s research, it is estimated that the bill, in its current form, will cost Coloradans over $426 million in increased premiums in the first year alone. PCMA remains committed to removing the delinking language while working with the sponsor to address his primary concern about “the perverse incentive” for PBMs to select drugs with higher list prices in order to obtain more rebates.
