In Review: Last week, the gold carding and prior authorization restriction bill, HB 1149, passed out of the House Health & Human Services committee. PCMA counsel, AHIP, and CAHP all testified against the bill. However, the proponents brought out an array of supporters, from patients to physicians to associations. PCMA also continues work on the white bagging restrictions in HB 1010, which is set for a hearing tomorrow before the House Health & Human Services Committee.
