Colorado Weekly Update 2.5.24

In Review: Last week, PCMA participated in a stakeholder meeting related to HB 1010, the white bagging restrictions bill proposed by the Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers. The proponents did not respond to the alternative language PCMA members provided, but we expect another stakeholder meeting to address the specifics of the alternative language. The bill was originally meant to exclude hospitals, but they are working with the sponsors to be included. This will balloon the cost impact of the proposal, and PCMA continues to work against it. We also saw the introduction of a gold carding bill, HB 1149. The bill was introduced with many sponsors of both parties and will be a difficult bill to slow.
