Colorado Weekly Update 5.12.25

In Review: Last week and right before adjourning sine die, Colorado’s delinking bill, HB 25-1094, passed the Senate by a vote of 29-6, and the House concurred with the Senate’s amendments. The bill will now move to Governor Jared Polis’s (D) desk for his consideration. PCMA submitted a veto request on behalf of the industry, and our public affairs campaign continues generating emails and letters requesting the governor to reject this bill. PCMA is also working to coordinate a business group veto request. Today, PCMA counsel is set to discuss the problems with the bill with the Insurance Commissioner and to outline the cost increases associated with the bill.
