In Review: Last week, PCMA and our local counsel met with Governor Jared Polis (D) and his staff to discuss our objections to HB 25-1094, the delinking bill. The meeting was also attended by Insurance Commissioner Michael Conway, who has expressed skepticism over delinking in the past. PCMA counsel deftly explained the value PhRMA sees in delinking and the impact it could have on insurance premiums. Overall, the governor and his staff were knowledgeable on the topic and asked probing questions, but gave no indication as to their plans for the bill. The governor has until late next week to sign or veto the bill.
