Colorado Weekly Update 5.5.25

Up Next: Today, Colorado’s delinking bill, HB 25-1094, is set to be heard by the full Senate. The bill would then return to the House for concurrence with Senate amendments and then to the Governor’s desk for consideration. PCMA continues to work to garner “no” votes, but our primary efforts are on the veto strategy. We are working with PCMA members to coordinate a business group veto request and our grassroots coalition partners to push more calls to the Governor’s office requesting a veto. PCMA is also working with the Insurance Commissioner to outline the cost increases associated with the bill and the impact it will have on premiums. The Colorado General Assembly will adjourn sine die on Wednesday, May 7.
