In Review: PCMA met with House leadership and members of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee to discuss the legislative proposals the Senate Democrats are pushing. Those proposals include “delinking”, PBMs acting as fiduciaries, and a ban on spread pricing. PCMA testified in the Insurance and Real Estate Committee hearing on SB 1366, which includes “delinking” PBMs as fiduciaries to the health plan sponsor, patient, and pharmacy and a ban on spread pricing. PCMA will continue to meet with leadership on these concepts.
Up Next: PCMA will testify in the upcoming Insurance and Real Estate Committee hearing on SB 10, which includes the burden of proving language on prior authorizations.
