Georgia Weekly Update 2.26.24

In Review: As anticipated, HB 1363 was introduced last week, a bill requiring the State Health Benefit Plan to study its drug acquisition cost in 2024 and compare that to the NADAC pricing for 2024. If the NADAC pricing is lower, the legislation requires that the state switch to NADAC by July 1, 2025. HB 1363 will be in the House Health Committee this afternoon and is anticipated to pass the House floor. HB 942, the white bagging bill passed out of House Public Health two weeks ago, is still pending in the Committee on Rules.

Up Next: This will be a busy week in Georgia as Thursday, February 29, is crossover day.
