In Review: Last week in Georgia, SB 198 was gutted and amended to include language that would require the PBM administering the State Health Benefit Plan to reimburse independent pharmacists at the same rate as chains. The bill passed out of the House on Thursday and is now pending in the Senate.
Up Next: The Georgia Legislature is in the final two days of the 2024 legislative session and PCMA is watching several bills as possible vehicles for white bagging, POS rebates, and other issues that PCMA has successfully kept from advancing.
