In Review: LuGina Mendez-Harper (Prime Therapeutics) and Bill Head met with several legislators in Boise last week, including the two primary expected bill sponsors of the anti-BPM legislation, Senator Kevin Cook (R) and Representative Jordan Redman (R). At their request, LuGina and Bill had a zoom call with pharmacists to share our concerns with the draft bill.
Up Next: We agreed to provide draft alternative language to the pharmacists’ proposed legislation. We were asked to provide language by today (January 22). While we do not expect our language to be accepted, it is a necessary good-faith step in responding to the pharmacists and making our case with legislators.
If you have any questions, please contact Bill Head at bhead@pcmanet.org.
