In Review: HB 596 (ban on spread pricing, mandatory minimum pharmacy reimbursement, transparency, 100% pass-through, mail order, and white bagging), as amended by the Senate and passed in the House by a vote of 53-15 on Tuesday, March 26 and sent to Governor Bradley Little (R). PCMA submitted a veto request and several member company representatives met with the governor and/or communicated their concerns with the bill. We have been coordinating our activities throughout with AHIP, who also sent a veto request.
Up Next: Gov. Little has until the end of the day (April 1) to either sign or veto the bill, or it becomes law without his signature.
