In Review: Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) is scheduled to give his State of the State Speech on Wednesday, February 19. It is expected that PBM reform will be highlighted as part of his prepared remarks. PCMA will share the legislative language with members as soon as the language is shared. In anticipation of the Governor’s legislative bill, last year PCMA and member companies agreed to a package and offered to the Department of Insurance on transparency, PCMA’s model language for PSAOs, using the current language on registration and licensure to mirror the PBM law, and expansion of the current grant program for independent pharmacies.
