In Review: Last week, PCMA testified at a hearing in Illinois focused on specialty drugs. Testifying alongside PCMA was PCMA member, Prime, represented by LuGina Mendez Harper; Dr. Shawn Griffin, CEO of URAC; and Vic Perini, the VP of Sales and Account Management at ESI. PCMA’s focus in Illinois in 2024 has been on an omnibus anti-PBM bill, although the Department of Insurance is currently rewriting the bill.

Up Next: PCMA anticipates the resulting new bill draft to be the focus of the 2025 spring legislative session.
