In Review: Without debate or a previous hearing, the Indiana Senate amended SB 140 to prohibit PBMs from affiliating with a pharmacy or servicing a plan offered by an affiliated insurer. In response, PCMA has initiated a campaign opposing the measure which is set to begin today. The Senate also advanced SB 3 (fiduciary mandate) and SB 480 (prior authorization). PCMA was present at the Republican Governors Association (RGA) over the weekend where, along with representatives from the industry, we visited with Governor Mike Braun (R) on the substantial problems posed by these measures.
Up Next: The Indiana Legislature is on spring break and no activities are scheduled in the coming week.
