Indiana Weekly Update 2.5.24

In Review: Last week, PCMA and member representatives were in Indianapolis for several meetings with legislators on SB 3 (Prior Authorization), SB 257 (Fiduciary Mandate), and HB 1327 (PBM Audits/Transparency). In short, SB 3 was removed from the Senate Appropriations calendar, and while ‘dead’, the language could come back in another vehicle. HB 1327 was moved off of its second reading and is eligible for a vote by the full House this week. However, PCMA, member counsel, and aligned stakeholders have asked the Speaker to not vote on the bill as the latest version does not reflect concerns raised by the industry after an agreement with the bill sponsor and House Health Chairman.
