In Review: Last week, a federal judge acted on a filing by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield related to the recently passed Iowa legislation (SF 383) to extend the injunction given to the Association of Business and Industry (ABI) members and other parties to the original suit. This preliminary injunction will stay in place until the courts resolve either Wellmark’s lawsuit or the pending appeal in the ABI case.
