Iowa Weekly Update 2.10.25

In Review: There were subcommittee hearings in the House of Commerce and Senate Health and Human Services on the kitchen sink anti-PBM bills (HSB 99/SSB 1074), which coincided with Pharmacy Day at the capitol. As expected, both bills received favorable recommendations. In addition, there was a fair amount of press relative to the issue.  PCMA and its member companies, as well as members of the coalition, all testified in opposition to the bill. SF 197 (Prohibit Step Therapy for Metastatic Cancer and Associated Conditions) was introduced in the Senate.
