Iowa Weekly Update 3.24.25

In Review: Last week, the insurers met with House Majority Leader Matt Windschitl (R) relative to the kitchen sink anti-PBM bills HF 852/SF 383. They discussed the numerous concerns of the bill as well as SSB 1207, which died but was opposed by the pharmacists even though it had a $3.00 dispensing fee for pharmacies with five or fewer locations and a prohibition on spread pricing and point-of-sale rebates.

Up Next: SF 315, which is the reverse auction bill that PCMA has been neutral on is scheduled for a House Commerce Subcommittee meeting on March 25. PCMA is monitoring this bill closely as the sponsor is the same as the anti-PBM kitchen sink bill.
