In Review: This week, Senator Tim Shallenburger (R) introduced the Pharmacists’ Association’s request bill, SB 360. The bill includes a dispensing fee (NADAC + $10.50), point-of-sale rebates, a ban on spread pricing, and various examination and audit mandates. The bill applies all of the mandates to ERISA plans but appears to exempt the state employee plans. The bill is scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Insurance next Wednesday morning. PCMA is preparing testimony and coordinating with our allies to speak in opposition.
