Up Next: Later this week, the Kansas Legislature will reach its First Adjournment. Due to the work of PCMA’s members and local counsel, we had another year without any anti-PBM legislation moving through the legislature. However, the pharmacists continue to lay the groundwork for a big push for PBM reform next year, and we are gearing up for a big fight. We continue to have strong supporters in leadership, but the rank-and-file members are starting to grumble, so we will be working to educate them on the value of PBMs and to build allies throughout the interim.
